plastic stock assortment

anyone know where i can buy an assortment of variousm plastic round/square stock for small hoem projects?--using small jewlers lathe looking for nylon especially--odd ends and pieces tia peter

Good hobby and art stores will have styrene in various shapes. Most are too "flat" to turn on a lathe reasonably.

Call around the local machine shops and find out who does plastics machining. They often have dumpsters filled with drops
