Lots of people. Some are afraid of money and the responsibility it takes to manage it. Some people are content with their lifestyle, even if it is living on the street, and see money as evil. Some people are against having a lot of money because of religious beliefs. In some cultures, richness and success are considered an affront to the other members of that culture, as it then makes the low achievers look bad.

Many people can handle not having money. Many people can not handle having money. And are soon broke.
