RIP james brady

Keine Probleme.

I've been having a good time, too.

6 weeks ago, my boss was talking about scheduling layoffs.

In March, we had done a medium size fast job for a company that makes forms for pouring concrete. A LARGE company whose LASER subsidiary had most of their CNC LASERs down for an unknown time...

They told us our work was better than what they'd been getting internally.

5 weeks ago we signed a contract with them for the largest job we've ever done. When their engineers came in to see how we were making their assemblies, they got out notebooks and started scribbling furiously. One operation we did with our CNC press brakes really got their attention, they'd never thought of doing it that way.

Anyway, I've been working LOTS of OT. And sometimes my usual 4-5 hours of sleep just isn't enough.

ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ...

Where was I?

I have to go to bed, I'm getting up early to shoot my Swedish M38 in a Vintage Military Match.

Goodbye and thanks for all the fish.

David

Hey, if you're doing laser cutting and air bending, you should be reading my magazine.

FAB Shop Magazine Direct:

We have a new one coming out in September: Shop Floor Lasers.

That's really just a placeholder. Most of the examples actually are from FAB Shop.

I edit FAB Shop, and write about half of it. I'll have very little to do with Shop Floor Lasers.
