When I sold my 7 (IIRC) 100 oz bars of silver, I took my spouse along, and went to several jewelers looking for the best price. I already had an idea what they were worth roughly. I settled on about the third jeweler.

i would look at places that are jewelry supply places or talk directly to custom jewelers. you can try looking towards hoover and strong out of richmond va, they "Refine" and will pay you for the material, if you have it in coil/bullion form you might get more, and sell it more easily

dont use the cash for gold places, they will probably rip you off
