What exactly are these Shopbot CNC routers capable of?
I have absolutely no experience with them or CNC equipment for that matter, but can anyone tell me.....can they actually take the place of the CNC punch machines I see in pro shops? (On a small scale).
I work with 050 and 060 3003 aluminum only.
Can these $5995 (PRT96) Shopbot routers actually set me up with my own automated fabrication shop?
I'm a complete novice with routing so I don't know.....can you "route" an opening in aluminum that is as good as a punch?
And for 18,995 I see the Plasma machine.....what's the story on that technology?
