I need to be able to run my welder off of my generator that has a 250 volt plug. I need to make a cable/extension cord that will go from a L14-30R plug on the generator to a 6-50R plug for the welder. Both of these plug types can be seen here:

I'm very comfortable wiring but just want to make sure that I properly connect everything.Any advice, comments or suggestions would be greatly appreciated and welcomed.
