Aw c'mon Gary! If you've got a bottle that's not heavier than air we want to hear about it! :-)

A guy here (Oz) tried that with rabbits. Everybody yelled cruelty. Now they may be right, they may be wrong. But Oz has 1080, myxomatosis and invented the Calisi Virus. People have a hard time separating brutality, or unsightliness (nobody sees the rabbits with the bugs), which can be cruel but need not be, from cruelty.

Nope. He's right. Reread the post _very_ carefully.
BTW. Gary. Can you place your name on the next line? Makes things confusing when scanning.... Nick.

Read it as carefully as you like, it still implies argon that's heavier than air, and a bottle that isn't.
Admittedly it's nit-picking, but what should have been written was:
"I do have a bottle of argon in the garage. Argon is heavier than air so it would settle to the bottom of any space the rat was in wouldn't it?"
See? No brackets, no clumsy phrasing. That's what we're teasing him about.
Sure, no problem,
Gary
If we're picking nits, let's get picking. Here is the relevant excerpt from my post:
"I do have a bottle of argon in the garage. Is it heavier than air (the argon, not the bottle) so it would settle to the bottom of any space the rat was in?"
I actually didn't know if argon is heavier than air, so this seemed like a good way to find out. While my phrasing wasn't the greatest, I don't see how I implied that the argon bottle is lighter than air, unless you read "it is" instead of "is it". Don't mean to be defensive, I like this discussion.
Gary Hastings
The first time I read your post I did misread it as "it is," so I can imagine someone else making the same mistake. And when I read it I did think for a moment "Hey, he has a bottle lighter than air!" My two cents. No refunds. (:
Darn it! You're right! OK, you and Old Nick can tease me!

Nah!......we already had our fun!
Seriously, the reason I was able to pick up you was that I was going to post the same sarcastic quip and _just_ caught myself in time.
