Checking with the landing gear leg manufacturer, I was informed that 6150 is no longer being made?

Why don't you talk to a steel producer?

From what I can tell the guys needing this stuff (Van's, Harmon, Tailwind builders) have looked - can't seem to find any. I found some sheet/plate - but no bar.
So, what would be a good substitute?
