Acme Rod

I'm after a short length of 3/4" x10 tpi LH acme rod. The usual sources (Halifax & Kingston) have drawn a blank. Ay other suggestions before I start sharpening a suitable piece of HSS?

Thanks

Just had a look and it's not acme but square. Don't suppose for a minute that this improves my chances.

I have some leadscrews left over from converting my X3 to ballscrews - they are 10TPI but a funny diameter - they measure in at 15.65mm which might be nominally 16mm or nominally 5/8ths.

Anyhow, if its any good to you...

Come to that, are they any use to anyone else?

Thanks Tony but 3/4" it has to be. I'm not adverse to converting to ball screws/nuts if there's any lying unloved in a corner!
