Where can I get ACME threaded rod?

I would like to replace a length of M8 threaded rod with some ACME threaded stuff, similar diameter, 10-20TPI, 2mm would be favourite. Ideally, LH threaded. I could probably make some but given my standard of work, it could be Christmas before I get a length worth using.

I can't seem to find a supplier of such stuff. Anyone got any good sources? Rolled is perfectly good - I don't want to be paying huge amounts of cash for an experiment.

There was a company called Kingston Engineering in Hull who sold lengths of such stuff for leadscrews and whatever.

Haven't got a phone number handy, I used them years ago when we had a Littlejohn mailing list.

Similarly, there is a company called the Halifax Rack and Screw Co who do the same:

FWIW, I have a length of M8 Left hand allthread kicking around in the workshop. Stands me at £5 per metre, happy to split. Sorry it isn't ACME, just ISO 1.25mm pitch.
