The time has come to get shot of an EMI-MEC Autosprint S plugboard lathe. This is to make room for a rather large slotting machine. Problem is............. so many other machines in the way, will make it very difficult to get out of the workshop. I'm not a young man anymore apparently.
Now, this machine is fully working, with bar feed and overhead electrically interlocked safety guard, can take 2" diameter up the spout, and trust me, it has over the years had plenty of 2" diameter 316 stainless bars, 10 foot long up her !!! I parted off 3mm disc type washers, with a finish from parting that was like a mirror. Anyway, looks like she will have to be broken up, so if anyone wants a lots of spares, and would like a nice trip to North London, near the border of Turkey, to remove said spares, please shout. Only looking for nominal contributions. By the way, the lathe weighs 2 and a half tons. Bob
