I have an ML4 minus the topslide. Anyone out there breaking an ML4?

Regards John.

Have you thought of using what you have left as the basis for a simple cylindrical grinder? Mount the hub off an old push bike on a sturdy bracket at the back of the cross slide. Stick a grinding wheel on one end, and a pulley on the other. Then drive the pulley from a motor a couple of feet up on the wall behind.

Heath Robinson was here! :) Worth a try though.

I have an old ML4 in the garage, I'll take a look tomorow to see what's on it (I know it isn't complete, but I'm not sure waht is there and what isn't).
