Do they make small, about 10mm dia, slitting saws, or is there something else like that with a different name?
Any idea where to buy them?

I have seen HSS at 3/4" dia and carbide at 15mm dia.Probably available in smaller sizes.Try google. Mark

ebay - look for watchmaker's accessories.
Alternatively you could try a Dremel mini drill or similar, which have small abrasive cut-off disks.
Search for screw slotting saws or cutters. Slitting saws are big. :-)
