binding ammonia with epoxy

Is it possible to bind ammonia dissolved in water with an expoy? E.g. a molecule which has one free oxirane-ring and is yes/no soluble in water. Can it happen at high pH or is it needed to bring it down. At the end I want to replace ammonia with another base like AMP.

I once made some epoxy-component-similar amine components this way, beacause i had trouble with a chromatographic effect of the resin components on mineral surfaces. The amine component had a hi affinity to the mineral substrate and was adsorbed at the surface while the oxirane part penetrated the porousmaterial a lot deeper. For this reaction you need autoclaves, liquid NH3 and a reactive oxirane. Unfortunately it is over 15 years ago and i can't remember the conditions, but i know that the only literature that vaguely in my direction at that time was fuzzy hazy patents.

So i don't think watery ammonia at normal pressure/RT will do much there..
