In my recent post requesting help with info on PVC and PE, I asked if there was an adhesive for PE. After looking on the web, I have found several adhesives that are said to work on PE. What I actually meant was ..is there a solvent for PE?

Judging from lab experience I would say no.
PE is soluble in some non-polar solvents, but only under very high pressure and/or temperatures.
