Thanks meme weld symbols do this all the time, so it looks like you're actually talking about a custom symbol. anything a dimension or note can do is contained in the Properties page... and no 'all around' there. leaving you with door 'b' (draft entities associated with dimensions or note leaders), i.e. 'draw' a circle and place...etc, kludge junk crap 'workaround' etc. sorry, it's Pro/e (and no Dashboard for drawing 'mode', i.e. no improvement in decades

-yes, two, so far.)

Thanks, I had hoped that there was some change but guess not.

Thanks meme i had another thought: some geometric tolerances do 'all around', for example, the profile tolerance. Maybe what you're trying to achieve calls for geometric tolerancing.

Hi, All:

I found an answer. This is a Wildfire 4 procedure:

"Insert", "Geometric Tolerance..." "Surface Profile" [choose the symbol] ["All Around" pretty much can only be used with this GTOL] "Reference Selected": "Surface" [select the desired surface edge-on. Do not select a surface that is facing you.] "Placement": "With Leader", "On Entity", "Arrow Head" "Select Surface" [same edge as before] "Done" "Flip Direction" [little window -- if the yellow arrow is pointing away from your surface, click 'OK'.] "Select placement location" is indicated in the feedback window... click to put the GTOL frame where you want it. "Symbols" tab in the GTOL construction window: "All Around" symbol appears. Click it. There you go!
