how to change dimention to "A" for exampl (or somthing else)


right click dimension, go to properties - dimension text example:

&d replaced d with o (not zero) &o A

Another thing you can try: select the dimension, RMB "Properties", go to the Dimension Text page and, at the bottom, in the Name field, change the symbol name to A. Then, where you see @D, change this to @S (for Symbol). This will display the new symbol name of A in place of the dimension. One advantage of this is that it causes no hiccups in the system, as do the @O (Overwrite) dims at times. Model Check chokes on them, that's for sure. Possible I-link twitches?
