Recently I learned that the CREO standard hole now includes a tapered = hole function. You get to it on the dashboard by hitting the = =E2=80=98tapered=E2=80=99 icon (available after you select threaded = hole; looks like a countersink). In the type drop down, you then get a = choice between NPT & NPTF. After that, you get the standard pipe thread = sizes. Something seemed to be missing since the hole came in at the = straight tap drill size, not showing any taper. Only way you can tell is = from the note.
Anyone know if they got similarly cute and hid a setting to make a = thread insert hole? The program really needs one.
