Recently I learned that the CREO standard hole now includes a tapered hole function. You get to it on the dashboard by hitting the ‘tapered’ icon (available after you select threaded hole; looks like a countersink). In the type drop down, you then get a choice between NPT & NPTF. After that, you get the standard pipe thread sizes. Something seemed to be missing since the hole came in at the straight tap drill size, not showing any taper. Only way you can tell is from the note.
Anyone know if they got similarly cute and hid a setting to make a thread insert hole? The program really needs one.
