Pro/e does not integrate with any operating system or any basic system scripting resources. It provides for integration with Pro/TOOLKIT, for integration with C++ system functions and with J-Link for Java integration with interface functions.

Possibly you could let us know what you need, what scripting functions will accomplish? Pro/e is the capital of the Kingdom of Workaround, backdoors everywhere where there might be a better front door approach. Nothing too silly or outlandish that a Pro/e workaround might not accomplish. However, VB is SW and not particularly welcomed here.

Pro/E IS Scriptable with the p-Shell API.

It has a native Pro/TOOLKIT optimized interface, and also contains interfaces for COM, ODBC, XML, SOAP, etc... already built into it.

We use it to write commercial and custom applications with much success.

Why certainly.. Look into Pro's installation directory. Mine is C:\ptc\Wildfire\jlink and within that there are pdf manuals, and example directories with projects to research. You may have to check to see if Jlink was installed, but it is by default so you should be OK.
