Hi Shultz... ...but that German lang. module (and English too..) is already installed.... which .bat file I have to edit.... to make a German lang default?

Hallo George, you must not edit any batch file. Set the environment Variable LANG to the value GERMAN.

- Normaly is this variable not set. you can do this at the Control Panel in the System Propertys.

Hi George,

Find the file " ptcsetup.bat " in your ProE \ bin directory. Double click on that file, and ProE reconfiguration will start. Set your language in the right fields. Doing so you will only reconfigure your ProE...you will not copy all files...infact this reconfiguration is really fast.

Sorry for not detailed answer, but I haven't my ProE here.

Bye, Shultz

Hi Shultz...

there is one problem about it....if you are choosing other language (during Setup) the English language is there... and you can not take it out... .or disable it... I don't know which version you have... but my version (WF 2 -2004320) is acting like that... default lang. is English... Bye George. PS. Thnx for talking to me....

Hallo George, sorry for the delay. In germany we had a long weekend. This Environment Variable is NOT XP specific, it makes no mater wich language version your Operatingsystem is. This variable is for ProE. In our location we have an XP multi language pack installation (english, german, danish) and we use english and german Wildfire2. Please locate the "Start Knopf" then go in the "System Steuerung" -> "Leistung und Wartung" -> "System Einstellungen" -> "Weitere / Erweiterte Einstellungen" -> "Umgebungs Variablen / Einstellungen" -> "System Variablen" and create a new variable LANG with the value GERMAN.
