How do Ifind out whether my parallel port

is?CPP?or?EPP type??

I am using a state of the art Fujitsu notebook.

Look in the BIOS, it'll be there somewhere. Windows will only tell you standard (EPP,SPP etc) or ECP type.

To get into the BIOS pay attention to the screen as the laptop starts, it should say something like 'press F1 to enter setup' other keys to try are 'Del', 'F2' or 'Esc'.

Remember to exit the BIOS by NOT 'saving and exiting'(usually F10) if all you wanted to do was check the setting and didn't need to change it.
