The one that immediately comes to mind is Impossible Mission where you had to jump over the robots.

Pokey.

Thanks for the response....

I haven't seen that one.

I do remember programs that have robots fighting others, robot suits that one controls for warfare and an older program where one could build robots...but the name of the programs escape me.

Any other suggestions?

Any robot simulations that are considered good?

Are you talking about actual simulators or are you talking like actual video games that involve something along the lines of Mechs? If the latter is the case I would have to say that my favorite one was ZOE (Zone of Enders).

Hi Pokey,

Wow! Flashback!

A couple of weeks ago, I downloaded a C-64 emulator, and the first game I tried was of course "Impossible Mission". Still plenty of fun.

WHAAAAA? You've never seen Impossible Mission? It only sold a zillion billion copies when it came out for the Commodore 64 in about 1983.

I think you can find a PC-sim version of it that will run under Windows (it didn't work under Win98 when I tried it a few years ago, but I haven't had a chance to retry it under XP). It's worth a look.

I am thinking more along the lines of Mechs...even though some of the real similators are fun to goof around with.

More suggestions?
