BOOK 3 is for radio users that are not hams, such as a Law Enforcement Officers, Firefighters, Government workers, and people who used a radio in the military. They can download a guide to translate what they already know about radio into the historic and fraternal language of amateur radio.
BOOK 4 is about how to choose WHICH radio to buy. Once you decide that you want a radio for your radio hobby, this book will help you decide what is important in buying the first new radio. It’s also great for hams returning to the hobby. Written by the National Association for Amateur Radio, it applies to almost any radio, and any equipment in any sub-hobby that involves radio.
