Hmm had a look at this... 3.00 shipping and handling? Can't you just download this off the site?

Actually, there is over 200 MB of data on the screen saver CD, so downloading it wouldn't be practical.

Not only are there 4 copies of the screen saver optimized for

4 different resolutions, but all the raw images are on the CD as well for people to use as desktop backgrounds.

That being said, if I ever decide to do a project like this again, I would most likely scale back the size and make it download only.

I suppose if you are on dial up it is not practical. Being on Cable, I download many times that.

It's not practical for the seller. For the small vendor, that may be half (or all!) of their per-day limit of bandwidth (for upload).

Download is nice, but I have to admit that I like having the full-size images available on the CD. I've pulled that CD out many times to show to people; I also leave that running as my screensaver of choice at work, and it draws plenty of questions!
