Aerotech Firstfire

Out of nothing but curiosity, why does Aerotech charge $10 for 3 Firstfire igniters, when so many other brands (such as my favorite, Quickburst,) are a buck apiece. IMHO the Aerotechs are no better- does anyone really buy the igniters by themselves at that price? Granted I have no complaints when they come with the motor- anything is better than a Crapperhead :)

I'm not complaining about anything Aerotech does- I love their products, and am glad they're getting back on their feet and motor production back up. I'm just curious about why the price is so high.

They have to price them to account for dealer distribution channels.

I used the quick bursts and I liked them. That said however, the Firstfire igniters do seem to insert slightly better due to the stiff 28 gauge wire leads. However, I'm using Quickbursts for the time being as they are more economical and they do indeed work.

Because people buy them.
