Electro-launch revisited

Nov 20, 2005 0 Replies

Bob gave me an excellent start with his photos of his old wooden electro-launch. But I am still confused on how it was assembled. I can tell from the old catalogs online that it used a mosonite panel in the front with machine screws (?) forming battery terminals, but what about the other end? Battery holes were blind drilled into the block so the other end was closed except for some small holes. Were wood screws used as contacts on that end? What kept the screws in contact with the batteries? Were there springs?
