Can anyone tell me what to use to debond plastic cement besides heat? I have the fins for my Astro-Sat coming but I can't get the warped ones out of the fincan. I have tried the Z-7 Debonder to no avail. Any help would be apreciated. Thanks Swho23 Secretary of the Mars Club
IIRC from my model building days, if you soak it in brake fluid for about a week it does no damage to plastics but slowly disintegrates the cement bond. We used it with styrene, but patience is the key, it takes a looooooong time
