Re: Prototype 'M' motor test flight entirely successful

A NIRA member already has a flying Big Boy. Of course it's not the full size statue, but some sort of food container or bottle from a promotion. And to say "fly" is to use the term very loosely. Not even "falling with style"...

For some reason, this time I read FTBOD as Flying Toilet Bowl Of Death. I was trying to imagine two things; what size motor would be necessary to lift its porcelain "airframe", and how you managed to stabilize its asymmetry...

The "Holy Grail" for me would be a hybrid powered Port-a-potty. That would be the ultimate "gas passer"....and if possible, a harmonically-tuned combustion chamber for "effect". >;-)

A "Skidmark" motor would be just as appropriate, and would be a fairly accurate replication of the after-effects from a bad bowl of chili. :)

Willing to consider it.

The end product will be more expensive--the material is more expensive per linear foot, and there will need to be more linear feet of it (by a bit), and the turning-down operation will add about $30-$50 to the manufacturing *cost*.
