Re: Sphereachutes?

I bought two 48" 'chutes from them and I am delighted. I've used one of them a few times and have not yet used the other. (just a different colour) The service and quality is excellent and I feel that they will hold up better than others I have used if there is a high speed deployment. I can't really compare too much as I have only launched a few times with that rocket and most often it was with the Spherachutes. They pack very easily and come with their own storage bag. I will order from them again. In fact, I plan to order a 72 incher in the spring.

Occasionally I see some hemispherical parachutes by a company called >Sphereachutes on eBay. Yes! I've been using them for many years on almost all of my rockets and camera payloads, and I've very happy with them. The quality is very good, the price is reasonable, the service is excellent, you can choose your own color and even have them made with more than one color. They are also one of the very few (maybe only?) makers of hemispherical chutes in smallish sizes.

Careful. This to me appears to be a sting by the BATF. These Spear Chutes are actually weapons used to bring down small aircraft like the Wright flyer and Cessna airplanes. Is it a coinsidnece that they showed up on Kitty Hawk day? Hmmmm?
