values of old stuff for insurance adjusting

i have not gotten a good look at my workshop since the fire. I can finally get in with power (lights) to make my non- savalge list. How do I set replacement values for the insurance? I had old stuff going back years (the oldest was a mars snopper 2) I had some big ticket Estes stuff: Saturn V, Mercury Atlas, Titian III, V2, honest john. I had unbuilt OOP kits: Sential, optima, Master series Space Shuttle, blackhawk, solar sailor 2, tubes, noses not to mention motors.

I am having trouble with deciding replacement values, depriecation and the like on these items. Many I can not replace. The disater contractor says note everything to try to get credit for it but values on these things are harder. Any experiance from any one?

For stuff that isn't in production, you may be able to get some kind of figure by looking at what people sell it to each other on Ebay for.

Sorry for the loss, Brauns. Not too long ago I had to access value to some possessions and I found ebay to be useful. I did a search of similar items that had closed in the last few months. Common sense would say the value of an item is that which someone will pay. If you get to use replacement value for your stuff, the cost will be that which you will actually end up paying. The only place you'll find that stuff for sale is an auction site or same.
