It contains various photographs, diagrams and drawings, for example of the overall configuration of the planned MD-91 and MD-92 airliners as well as of details such as the engines, flight deck and seating arrangement. The report has a total of 65 pages and is 8 ½" x 11" tall and ¼" thick. It contains black and white photographs, drawings and diagrams. It has a plastic binding and is, apart from some light soiling of the cover, in good condition. The price is $6.

This presentation provides an overview of the UHB (Ultra High Bypass) Airliner Program with respect to program objectives, technology readiness, demonstrator program, market aspects, key design features, performance, economics and program status. The objective of this program was to incorporate the most fuel efficient propulsion system in the from of ultra high bypass engines. The MD-91/92 family represented a major evolutionary step of the MD-80 family and combined advanced technology, composite primary structures and improved avionics with well proven MD-80 components to maximize aircraft operational economics. The presentation contains various photographs, diagrams and drawings, for example of the overall configuration of the planned MD-91 and MD-92 airliners as well as of details such as the engines, flight deck and seating arrangement. The report has a total of 69 pages and is 8 ½" x 11" tall and ¼" thick. It contains black and white photographs, drawings and diagrams. It has a plastic binding and is in good condition. ------------------------------------------------------------- For sale is a report "MD-80 Maintenance Facility and Equipment Planning Manual", Product Support, McDonnell Douglas, Douglas Aircraft Company, Report L26-015, December 1986. This manual was prepared to provide general information about all series of the MD-80 for purposes of design and fabrication of ground support equipment and facilities. The manual is structured in the four sections of Aircraft Data arranged by ATA Chapter, Aircraft Recovery, Maintenance Facility Planning, and Facility and Equipment Suppliers. The section on Aircraft Data, which constitutes the majority of the manual, contains information on 34 different categories, such as for example dimensions and areas, towing and taxiing, air conditioning, communications, electrical power, fire protection, flight controls, hydraulic power, ice and rain protection, landing gear, navigation, structures, and power plant. This section also contains three view drawings of the airplane with dimensions as well as detail illustrations of various aircraft systems and installations, such as interior arrangements, flight deck, landing gear, service points, flight controls, fuel tanks, emergency equipment locations, exterior lighting, antenna locations, passenger, cargo and service doors, and engine installation. The manual is 8 ½" x 11" tall and ½" thick. Apart from some light soiling to the outside, it is in good condition The price is $12.

This set of excerpts covers a wide variety of design and operational characteristics of the DC-10 airplane, such as aerodynamics, design and flight characteristics, flight controls, ice and rain protection, water and waste systems, fuel system, pneumatics, electrical systems, warning and caution systems, air conditioning and pressurization, powerplant, hydraulic power, navigation system, communications, flight instruments, and seats. A general description contains a three view drawing of the airplane with dimensions as well as a view of the interior arrangement, and other sections illustrate details of the flight deck. The description section contains a three view drawing of the airplane, and other drawings and diagrams illustrate various interior arrangements as well as a cutaway view of an engine and an exploded view of the major aircraft components, while black and white photographs show various views and details of the aircraft, such as the cockpit. The softbound brochure has 24 pages and is 8 ¾" x 11 ½" tall. Apart from a slight crease and small tear on the front cover and a crease in the back cover, the document is in otherwise good condition. 7920-AN/865, Fourth Edition, 1969, softcover. This report describes background material on matters affecting the design and construction of aerodromes and associated equipment with respect to rescue and fire fighting operations. It addresses the aspects of service and equipment, standard operating procedures, precautionary measures during refuelling, foam runways for crash protection, removal of crashed aircraft, and aircraft fuelling ramp drainage. Of special interest to aviation enthusiasts is a 115 page appendix, which contains aircraft data for fire fighting and rescue crews. In addition to general information on principal points of access and basic principles of fire fighting of civil aircraft, it contains specific related data for a wide variety of piston engined aircraft, turbo-prop engined aircraft, turbine aircraft and helicopters. For each aircraft, a short description and general data and takeoff and landing performance characteristics as well as specific information on the capacity and location of fuel tanks are provided, together with a drawing illustrating the location and geometry of emergency exits, fuel and oil tanks, and containers or reservoirs for hydraulics, oxygen, batteries, and alcohol or water-methanol.
