Has anyone ever seen the Movie "Sailor of The King" aka "Single-handed"? Jeffrey Hunter plays a British seaman from a ship sunk by a German surface raider. It is damaged in a surface action, and he escapes to the island it has anchored at to effect repairs. He snipes at the repair crews and delays them enough for the British warships to arrive and sink it.Haven't seen it in years, but would like to find a copy.Anyone know of it?Bob

One story that is definitely true involved John Lennon being interviewed by a music "journalist" who was writing one of those adoringly uncritical articles for teenage fans.

"Would you say that Ringo Starr is the best drummer in the world?" she gushed.

"No," replied Lennon with uncompromising honesty. "He isn't even the best drummer in the Beatles!"
