what was the large white cross on the prototype's fuselage just behind the wing for? some sort of calibration marking? wonder how hard a conversion would be. i really like the late war german style canopy. reminds me of the planned production junkers 287, now that was one hot looking design!

I believe the cross was a photo ref. As for conversion, OK Models used to make a fine vac & resin conversion for the Monogram kit. They show up on eBay occasionally. ISTR someone announcing a resin conversion as well.
