Any ideas if there's a kit about of the 1950/60's car above?

Not many police agencies bought the high-end Chevrolet as a police cruiser, due to cost considerations. I believe that Chevrolet, along with Ford, Plymouth, Dodge, even AMC and Studebaker offered their police-package cars in the low end models only.

In general, Chevrolet police-package (or fleet cars in general for that matter) were 150-series sedans, either 2dr or 4dr through 1957, shifting to the Delray series in 1958, and Biscaynes from 1958 onward. This is not to say that some police agencies didn't opt for more expensive models, a few did.

Indiana State Police, for example, bought about 50 1967 Impala 2dr hardtops for patrol work on the Indiana Toll Road, with police package suspensions, engines and transmissions. One of these cars has been retained by ISP, is restored, and on display at the ISP Museum at Stout Field in Indianapolis. You can build up a model of this car from the AMT/Ertl 1967 Impala kit, just get rid of the Super Sport trims, and add Fred Cady Decals, and of course, the appropriate Mars light, rear-facing flashers in the back window.
