This work is simply the best available on Japanese warplanes. All major and minor types are detailed, including each model's varients. The detail is incredible. There is a weapons section that details Japanese aircraft mounted guns and ammunition. There are plenty of good black and white photos and good 3-view drawings. This book is a must for the WWII aircraft afficianado.
... There's not much that can be said about JAPANESE AIRCRAFT OF THE PACIFIC WAR, other than that it is probably the definitive work on the subject. It covers all major types of aircraft used by the Imperial Japanese Army & Navy to a good level of detail, and includes many descriptions of lesser types and experimentals.
