Hi guys, I've just started building Hellcat F6F-5K, a orange painted drone. Therefore,does anyone know how the cockpit looked ? Was it normal cockpit with seat inside, or seat was removed to accomodate remote controls and servos,or what?? Any help is very appreciated, best regards, Slider
No definite info, but I would say that it stayed pretty well as the factory rolled it. Drones often carried a check pilot to keep an eye on things - they still do, depending on the mission... And an on-board pilot is a pretty good idea for transits between test areas etc. But I could be wrong - I will stand corrected if anyone else knows for sure.

I'd have to agree with RobG - cockpit pretty much intact, but probably with all but essential instruments/avionics equipment removed.
