If You Were Going to Build a Rail Dragster Kit - Which One ?

Help out this old aircraft and target builder.

If I am going to build one dragster, got any recommendations? I've searched a bit and found they are mostly Revell kits. Pretty much all the same in terms of construction? Just buy the one that has the decals you like?

1/25 and 1/16 scale is what I've come up with. 1/16 would be better as they fiddly bits would be hopefully larger.

thx - Craig

Pretty much it...I think the first kit I ever built with my Grandfather was a dragster, as I recall. Then we did a Revell Dr.1 and I became an instant airplane nut...

I've built a couple of the 1/16 Revell ones - they are very nice kits and lend themselves very readily to super-detailing. I did the Tony Nancy Loner front engined one and the Jeb Allen Praying Mantis rear engined one back in the day. Highly recommended.

How about the 1/8 Lindberg Exterminator Dragster? When I was a little kid, I had one that a friend's big brother made & gave it to me. When Lindberg released it again a few years ago, I got 2 for the stash.
