Does anyone make any aftermarket engines to upgrade a 1/72 scale CK135E model to an R model?
AMT offered a KC_135R kit at one point. I think Heller still has the mounds right now, and their C-135F kit also uses the CFM engines. Another option is to find the Airfix boxing of the E-3 Sentry and rob the CFMs out of it.
Not at the moment, but Flightpath had/will have a set available.
I had to break down and start making copies from a model my father had not assembled yet. He is a retired crew chief on the 135's and my goal is to have a 72nd scale model of each version of the plane. Email me direct if you would like a set of engines.
