Mattel Vacu-Form machine from 1962

Useful for making thin clear plastic canopies from thick kit supplied ones. Also for reproducing extra parts that may be needed for conversions or scratch-building.

Requires that you create a small platform with holes in it on the vacuum stage. It originally came with one, and I will probably find it eventually and will send it on to the buyer when I do.

This originally came with all sorts of molds for making small cars and airplanes. You need to make small rectangular sheets (3" X 3.5") of thin plastic that will fit into the clamp. You hold these over the heating element until soft, then swing this over on top of the mold and vacuum chamber and pump the small handle on the side to create the vacuum.

Designed to function on 115v current
