Quickboost

I'm wondering about a resin aircraft accessory site called "Modelers Choice." I found some really nice aircraft resin detail items on the QuickBoost site (I've been told they are somehow associated with Eduard). Anyway, the QuickBoost site showcases this nice resin stuff but you can't order anything there. If you want to order something, you get redirected to this Modelers Choice retail site. Before you can order anything, you have to register and each time I tried, I kept getting an error message. Then, I began getting security warning messages on my Internet Explorer telling me that the site had no, or an out-of-date security certificate.

Just wondering if anyone else has had any similar problems. Has anyone successfully registered and ordered from them?

Hi Bill

I tried it after reading your post with the same message. They may not have the site complete yet, or it may be a scam -have you tried looking for Quickboost through Great Models .com? They are indeed a division of Aires - have purchased many of their items and they are nice!

Good luck

Bob

No, hadn't tried great models. I sent Quickboost another e-mail advising that I was still having problems and they suggested I try Hannants. Unfortunately, I couldn't find either of the items I was looking for by searching their site. I'll give Great Models a shot....thanks, Bob

FYI: I just tried the Great Models site and they don't even list Quickboost as a manufacture's option for searching the site.

Maybe try the kit you are looking for. For example, I typed in P-61 in their search area and that is how I found out Quickboost made the items that led me to post the other day about any experience with them. Hope this helps you!

Use the regular search, and type in quickboost. It came up with 208 items for me. For the manufactrer's search, you have to select aircraft accessories from the pulldown menu and then quickboost appears in the generated list.

You're right. I just did and it did. Thanks again!

I found what I was looking for and ordered the items. Thanks again for your help!
