I use disposable polyethylene pipettes -- $1 for 50 of them.

I don't dispose them very often -- they usually last a year or more. I rinse with lacquer (nitrocellulose) thinner. In that past year I think I've used up 10 pipettes, only because I cut them up to decant spray paint so I can airbrush it. I stir paint with little glass mixing rods from the same laboratory supply house -- super-efficient clean up and also very inexpensive. The last of my paint-mixing triad is glass scintilation vials in 1 ounce size. They come with polyseal caps and cost .24 USD each. They are just about the same size and cap as Alclad II metal lacquers.
