x-no-archive: yes

Was watching a Friends re-run yesterday and a piece of the dialog was as follows:

[...] CHANDLER: Heckles played clarinet in band, and I played clarinet. And he was in the scale modeler's club, and I was, well, there was no club, but I sure thought they were cool. JOEY: So, you were both dorks. Big deal. [...]

So, what gives? Pavlos

The scriptwriters are jealous.

proudly a geek...and I get plenty along with doing models ;-)

Yeah, Joey's got dork-envy. Besides, Joey thought his tailor was checking his inseam, remember? What a moron.

speaking of taxi models, does anyone make a checker marathon? or even a nomad, i could bash it to a marathon. coolest limo i ever saw was a stretch marathon. had 8 doors on each side, and a center section i bet was 20 feet long.

i like computers, motorcycles, models and the most f***** up music i can find. and i attract crazy women. does that make me a geek?

Beats me but I'm glad I never watched any of that crap. 6 young people living in NY apartments? Yeah, right. I don't like Seinfeld either.

be a fairly easy conversion, then. i want to build a late

70's boston itoa ass. hack. i still have the tin for 473 that i drove.

Well, I wouldn't be caught dead playing a clarinet (or hanging out with anyone named after an infant kangaroo), and that tells you all you need to know.

Jules, Do you have a pocket protector to store your pens in....... The squad's on its' way, mate!

Pintney......now

"Friends'? 'Seinfeld'? What the hey are you guys talking about! Just watching that stuff marks you as dork - or a chick...... and none of us are that, are we. Except Tracy - sorry :-) Although that young Jenny Aniston is cute (and I never nearly made it with her, either )

RobG (the Aussie one) "Better get a bucket...."

? "dave999" ?????? ??? ?????? news: snipped-for-privacy@lvcm.com...

Hey Dave, I am not a dork. Am not, am not, am not. OK? ;-) Pavlos

It could be worse. My daughter-in-law is a slobbering Phillies freak. I truly think she'd choose them over church anyday. My son gets dragged all the way to Philly to sit for hours watching guys scratch themselves out in public. I'd rather have a root canal.

Yes my son whos almost 15 is doing rather well, my daughters to will be that age soon but knowing what lads are like wont ever had a BF while im alive!

yeah well, girls do have a part. all you can do is try to raise them right and hope for the best.
