How do you control inside radius on forming tool?

I have made a few forming tools in the past, all of which had a critical outside radius. I found these quite easy to build, but now I'm stuck with controlling the inside radius.



I have a shape based on a Mate forming tool (tool code "A0"). This is a card guide where the card rides along the two developed inside radius'. I want a forming tool that best mimics an anvil that controls the inside radius, then the punch and form side that pre-punches then bends the metal around the anvil.



Since every forming tool I've built before simply plunges into the material and lets the software figure out the inside radius, I'm at a loss for how to control that same inside radius with the equivalent of an anvil.



Short of some extra math, does anyone have an idea?

Ok, but a calculated radius, whether developed inside or outside, is based upon the sheet metal properties, yes? If the form tool is the equivalent of air bending, how do I plunge the tool from the front, and control the inside radius on the rear (since that is where the anvil goes)?

Maybe for representation sake I could forgo the accuracy, but for collision tests, I don't know.

with multi bodies the little "bridge" (.00004") between the 2 halves isn't needed.
