Link Note to "Last Saved Date"

Does anyone know how to link a drawing note to the last saved date in "short date" format. I can link to it using the "long date" format. But really just want the short date information.

Thanks,

There is nothing. Seems silly who wants a long date on a Drawing. I would guess 2% of people using SW would actually use this.

You can write a simple macro to update a named note on your drawing before every save. It would require some template setup and having an events macro run at startup. (the only problem with a macro is if someone uses the vbaeditor it could stop the macro, if this would be a problem then an add in is needed.) I have one that updates the create date every time a new drawing is made works pretty well among our small group.

Thanks Corey,

I was afraid someone was going to say that. Unfortunately, I know nothing about creating macros other than recording simple button sequences.

Also, I realized that I didn't explain myself completely. I am trying to link a drawing note to the "last saved date" of the model in "short date" format, NOT the last saved date of the drawing. Would that make a difference in your response?

No such luck. Sorry
