There is no such tool...unfortunately. Would be a good one only although probably very hard to implement (from a programmers perspective).
Tim is correct -- there is a thickness analysis in Solidworks utilities -- it must be loaded under Tools Addins -- plus you must have solidworks office or had purchased SW utilities. They have added to this tool in the next release. Very nice stuff.

Yeah, there is, if you have SW Office. In the "Utilities" add in someone else mentioned, there is a "Thickness Analysis" which can find the minimum thickness for a model.

Sure.If you have Pro-E.IT is easy to check minimum thickness.Set the minimum size,1.0mm, and two reference plan between which the thickness will be checked.Where the thickness is thinner than the min you set will desplay in red.

If you have SolidWorks Office (I'm using SW2004), you get the Thickness Analysis tool (under the Utilities menu when the SolidWorksUtilities add-in is checked). You can use it to look for areas below a specified wall thickness in SolidWorks. Shandon
That great! Thanks for turning me on to a tool that I didnt know existed.
