Novice Q about cutting plane

Hi, a very basic question I would guess... but

in SW2004, is it possible to cut a solid body with a plane ? (1 side of the plane needs to be removed)

Yes. Under the Insert menu select Insert, Cut, With Surface, then select the plane you wish to use.

Or, do you just want to look at it, in which case you would use a section view. With 2004 you can slide the handle back & forth.
