ECN = Engineering Change Request ECO = Engineering Change Order also know as
ECA = Engineering Change Authorization EWO = Engineering Work Order etc, etc.......
These are fundemental documents in an engineering environment for getting work done.
Like your question on the SolidWorks forums it is an incredibly broad topic that can not be explained in an e-mail. Get with your VAR to discuss your specific engineering environment and how to best utilize a PDM system with it.
