SolidWorks World 2004

Sorry buddy, but I've got a wife, two kids, two cats, and a small house. 4 nights by myself in a hotel room is sheer heaven.

Don't forget the SWUGN meeting on Monday evening.

disappointed.

Paul, I'm suprised to hear you refer to the roundtables as having little value. Surely you've attended them in the past. If not, you should know that these discussions are very focused on what real-world users have to say about current functionality and improvements we would like to see made. The SolidWorks folks who lead the discussions listen to each and every roundtable attendee, and it gives them a chance to elicit more than a simple "drawings suck" comment. I have seen many occasions where product managers will admit to shortcomings in certain aspects of the software, and I know they are genuinely interested in improvements. I also believe the roundtables have been the source of many improvements to SolidWorks software. It's not market research, they want to know what we think is wrong.
