SWX translator ProEngineer to 2001 plus

I am running 2001plus and the unmentionable has happened :-( I have been asked to look at some ProE files. Is there a translator to import/open ProE prt files in 2001plus?

Many thanks

I dont think Pro desktop express is available.

Maybe try to find someone using 2004 that is willing to open them for you then save out as parasolid....

With features tree - NO

I have done it, but it is a multi step process.

1)Must have someone with SW2003 or 2004 w/Featureworks.

2)Featureworks converts the Pro/e features(only up to 2001, not Wildfire) into Solidworks parametric features(some may not work).

3)SW2003 or 2004 export Parasolid to you.

or

If you just need the Pro/e files as an "envelope" or "place holder- (taking up volume in an assy)", like the others suggested have the Pro/e guys export STP or STEP. Iges looks like hell in wireframe.

AFAIC
