Does anyone out there use a trackball for Solidworks? If you do what do you use, or reccommend?
Thanks, Mike

I use the Logitech Trackman Marble wheel - It's and older model but Love it. I have been using mine for over 4 years. - can be seen here -

I used a logitech trackball for a while, because my shoulder was bothering me.
I found it to be more difficult to use than a mouse
What type of trackball is it? If it like the one I use I'll buy it. The newer verions are to small for my large hands.
I do agree my thumb hurt and I wasn't as accurate at first, but after I got used to it My accuracy is better than it was using a normal mouse. I'll never go back to a regular mouse now.

I found it to be more difficult to use than a mouse--I tended to use my thumb to position the ball, and it was less accurate and slower. Also, my thumb got tired. Switched back once my shoulder healed.
Want a good deal on a used trackball?
Thanks, Mike

it's a Logitech TrackMan Marble FX
you use, or reccommend?
I use the cordless optical trackman at work and the old marble fx at home. At first they are hard to get used to. But the benefits are worth the effort. I will never go back to a regular mouse.
I recommend the one I use at work. It gives me all the options that a scoll mouse does.
